Irbid, Jordan – October 28, 2024 – The Water Diplomacy Center (WDC) at Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) welcomed a delegation from the Jordan Green Building Council (JordanGBC) today to discuss opportunities for collaboration and officially launch Jordan's first Water Management Entrepreneurial Competition for university students. The JordanGBC delegation shared their achievements and outlined the services they provide in promoting sustainable water resource management.

Led by Eng. Shifaa Khatatbeh, Vice-Chairwoman of the JordanGBC, the delegation highlighted the importance of empowering young talent to address critical water resource challenges through innovative, hands-on learning experiences. Also present were Ghayda' Salameh, Executive Manager of the JordanGBC, and Eng. Abdelrahman AlNuaimat, the competition coordinator, who discussed potential joint activities with WDC's leadership to further their shared vision of advancing knowledge and innovation in Jordan's water sector.
