The webinar will be delivered by Prof. Alper BABA, Head of the International Water Resources Department. This webinar is part of the Blue Peace Middle East Capacity Development Project, funded by the Swiss Government.

About the Speaker:
Prof. Alper BABA holds a degree in Geology and a PhD in Hydrogeology from Dokuz Eylül University, İzmir. He is a Professor at the İzmir Institute of Technology and serves as Director of the Geothermal Energy Research and Application Center, with over 20 years of experience in hydrogeology and environmental geology. His research focuses on groundwater contamination, geothermal energy, and water resources management. He has coordinated numerous national and international projects, including NATO-funded initiatives, and has authored many scientific publications in his field.
