The Water Diplomacy Center (WDC), with support from the Government of Switzerland, is pleased to announce the 2026 call for applications for the 𝐖𝐃𝐂 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 2026. This fellowship is open to graduate students conducting research in water diplomacy, transboundary water management, and related topics in the MENA region.

𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝:
Up to $5000 for MS students
Up to $7000 for PhD students

𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲:
- Be a citizen of Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Iran, Türkiye, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Palestine Algeria, Tunisia, Mauritania.
- Enrolled full-time in a regional or international MS or PhD program.
- Have a research proposal approved by your advisor and department.
- Proficient in English
- Priority will be given to those expected to publish their work in 2026
- Have not previously received any type of funding from the WDC​
