The Water Diplomacy Center (WDC) at Jordan University of Science and Technology is searching for one full-time Research Assistant for the project titled "Blue Peace Middle East 2.0 – Capacity Development (JUST-WDC)" in Irbid, Jordan, under the following conditions:

Job Description:

1. Conduct literature reviews and summarize key findings.
2. Collect and analyze data using appropriate methods.
3. Assist in designing and setting up experiments or studies.
4. Manage and organize research data, ensuring documentation and security.
5. Contribute to research papers, reports, and presentations, including synthesis and writing.
6. Completing any tasks assigned by the WDC Director in an efficient and timely manner.
   
    
   
   Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, or agriculture from a recognized university with a minimum grade of very good.
• Master's degree in civil engineering, natural resources and environment, water resources, sustainable water resources, geology, geography, or any related discipline from a recognized university with a minimum grade of very good. The thesis subject must fall within one of the following subjects: WEFE-Nexus, water governance, water diplomacy, climate change, water resources modeling, or transboundary water-related topics.

• Applicant's nationality: Jordanian.

Skills

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking both English and Arabic.
• Previous experience in research work.
• Ability to work within a team and handle work pressure.
