Blue Peace Middle East is a first-of-its-kind regional initiative in the Middle East that strengthens cooperation over water resources. It brings together experts, politicians, and media to tackle water scarcity, improve food and energy security, and protect the environment. The Water Diplomacy Center (WDC) is the research and education pillar of the Blue Peace Middle East initiative.

Osama Freihat Technical Assistant – Blue Peace Middle East

What this training, has done is that it expands our horizons. For example, in the negotiation topic, you can never get your water rights without being a good negotiator, and that is exactly what this training has done; it had directly on this topic, and we are now trained on being good negotiators
Behnam Andik WDC Fellow

Regarding this workshop, whoever wants to think about or decide about water should know about water. I understand that water is an interdisciplinary issue, but the basis of water is data; without understanding data, you can’t understand water and how to make a decision regarding it.
